JUST GETTING ON WITH IT

This week I have been doing a second tight edit of EVE or Finding Jasper - still can't decide on the title of my latest YA book.  I quite enjoy this part of writing as you realise just how much work you've done and that you have actually created A WHOLE BOOK.

I spend a lot of time working on new chapters to weave in and adding to or taking away from those that are already there.  It's a slow, time-consuming job but I know I'll do another two or three edits before I am happy.

I have been working on the synopsis too, a pet hate of mine, but it is getting better.

Oh, and I am all booked on to The Winchester Writers' Festival with four one to one editor appointments which is a first for me.
