I am over the moon to announce that I am now represented by the lovely Lorella Belli of the Lorella Belli Literacy Agency #lbla. She is one of the agents I had a one to one appointment with at The Winchester Writers Festival. I have a signed contract and several pages of great feedback and suggestions of areas to be worked on so I am busy editing. I am fortunate to work in a school so the summer break is a real bonus.
I f you haven't been to a writers' festival all I can say is 'do it'. Book yourself some one to one appointments and go for it. It really does make a huge difference meeting agents face to face. Lorella was so enthusiastic about my book that I know it's in safe hands and she'll do the best for it.
Now back to the editing process.
